Losing control of one&#039;s financial situation is, apparently, the greatest cause of anxiety amongst downshifters. Also, I would say it&#039;s the biggest fear that I&#039;ve had to face too in my downshifting journey, together with the feelings of insecurity that arise in tandem with that. 

It can be very liberating to be able to let go of all that &quot;hanging on&quot; that happens when we feel insecure and I&#039;ve found that those simple strategies I&#039;ve mentioned in the post help with that.

Glad you like the haircut. I&#039;m finding it a bit cold round my neck on chillier days like today - great for the summer though!</description>
