A series of 6 teleClasses, each 45 minutes long, exploring the elements of downshifting, the reality of living a sustainable lifestyle in a consumer driven society and how to motivate ourselves to make the switch.

The financial implications of downshifting.
How to develop a financial strategy for your change of lifestyle.
Facing up to what scares you and how to deal with that.

Module 2 Action Steps – Removing obstacles

Module 3 – Where are you going?

How to clarify your dream if you know what it is.
How to uncover your dream and define it if you don’t!
Setting your intention.
Moving from an “earning a living” mindset to a “living your dream”mindset.

Module 3 Action Steps – Clarifying the vision exercise.

Module 4 –  How do you know that it’s possible to get there?

Fact finding and decision making.
How to research your change in lifestyle.
How to ground your dream and do some reality checks.
How to deal with your gremlins, negative self-talk and limiting beliefs.

Module 4 Action Steps – Information and evidence gathering

Module 5 –  What about the other people involved?

What to do if your partner, spouse or other loved ones do not want to downshift with you.
How to downshift with your partner/spouse and/or children.
How to deal with the criticism and judgements of others.
How to stay true to your aims.

Module 5 Action Steps – Communication and resilience exercise.

Module 6 –  Welcoming your change in lifestyle.

Putting it all together.
How to complete your downshifting portfolio.
Plugging the gaps and dealing with the unforeseen.
Goals and timescales.
Allowing it to happen.

Note: The aim of this course will be to build up a downshifting portfolio containing practical guidance, sources of inspiration and support and an overall personal downshifting plan tailored to your individual requirements. You will then have the opportunity for 1-2-1 coaching or group coaching to support and encourage you in implementing your plan, should you wish.

Duration – 45 minutes each class.

Cost

The fee for individual teleclasses is £9  per person per module. This includes class notes and an mp3 audio recording of the module.
The discounted rate for advanced booking of all 6 classes is £47.
